Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) Technical Program Manager to work in our Demonstration Infrastructure and Support/Demonstration Project Partnerships Department (C310). Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. Responsibilities Include: - Support the success of advanced reactor demonstration projects by coordinating work across national laboratories and by leading teams to design the purpose-built experimental infrastructure needed by U.S. reactor developers and work directly alongside industry partners as they demonstrate innovations in nuclear reactor design and deployment. - Work closely with other organizations, facilities, operations and business professionals to lead programmatic activities and ensure cost effective execution and completion. - Minimize the time required to build and operate novel reactor concepts. - Coordinate experimental campaigns using existing DOE facilities, developing new facilities and/or capabilities to allow testing and demonstration, ensuring the availability and production of fuel for reactor demonstrations, and preparing sites for operational demonstration reactors.
