About The Role
We are seeking a
Cyber Security Project Manager to join our team supporting the
Y-12 National Security Complex! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee with hybrid flexibility; this has been approved for remote work with the exception of one week per month on-site.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage multiple cybersecurity projects
- Coordinate within the department, project team, business unit managers, and with the project management office to achieve product-oriented outcomes
- Create, revise, and execute project documentation including:
- project management plans,
- communication plans,
- test plans,
- risk mitigation plans, and
- configuration management plans.
- Responsible for overseeing and directly managing technology projects.
- Ensures cybersecurity is built into projects to protect the organization’s critical infrastructure and assets, reduce risk, and meet organizational goals.
- Tracks and communicates project status and demonstrates project value to the organization.
Requirements
- Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field and 5+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience and an Associate's Degree may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's.
- Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
- Clearance – To be considered, you must have an active or very recently active DOE “Q” Clearance or DoD “Top Secret” Clearance.
- Must have experience delivering cloud enabling capabilities.
- Must have project management or similar experience (managing deliverables and milestones) of overseeing technology projects.
- Must have knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Azure Dev Ops, and Agile methodologies.
- Must have knowledge, skills, and abilities in:
- operational planning processes
- cybersecurity and information technology (IT) security principles, practices, and requirements
- requirements analysis principles and practices
- information technology (IT) architecture models and frameworks
- system life cycle management principles and practices
- technology procurement principles and practices
- cloud computing principles and practices
- acquisition life cycle models and frameworks
- performing capabilities and requirements analysis
- performing administrative planning activities
- communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- performing needs analysis
- team building and leading integrated product teams
- identifying and documenting supply chain risks for critical system elements
- defining and managing day-to-day performance of operating-level agreements (OLAs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) within the authorized limits of a Project Manager.
Desired Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications, preferred.
About The Site
The NNSA's Y-12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is the nation’s only source of enriched uranium nuclear weapon components and provides enriched uranium for the U.S. Navy as well as excels in materials science, precision manufacturing, and stores enriched uranium. Y-12 supports efforts to reduce nuclear proliferation risk and performs work for other government agencies
(energy.gov).
