Spectra Tech has an immediate need for a Translator in Oak Ridge, TN.
Japanese translator to collect and interpret data from online sources. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting internet searches, gathering relevant information, and translating findings from Japanese to English . Key Responsibilities include :
- Conduct internet searches in Japanese to gather relevant data, statistics, and information and organize it into a tabular format
- Translate online content, articles, reports, and data tables from Japanese to English with accuracy.
- Identify credible sources and verify the accuracy and reliability of the information gathered.
- Maintain clear and organized documentation of sources, references, and translated materials.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in both Japanese and English.
- Experience in online data collection and verification.
- Ability to navigate Japanese websites, databases, and online resources efficiently.
- Experience translating technical or business-related content.
- Attention to detail, particularly when interpreting data, statistics, and context.
- Familiarity with research methodologies and data analysis tools is a plus.
