Specialist, Program Management – Aerospace & Defense ( EVMS, Contracts, FAR/DFAR)
Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
Salary: $130,000–$150,000
Schedule: 9/80 with every other Friday off
Active Secret Clearance Required
Seeking an experienced Program Management Specialist to support defense programs involving submarine systems and imaging technology. This role coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver program commitments on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead cross-functional program teams across engineering, operations, finance, contracts, planning, and supply chain.
-Manage program cost, schedule, technical performance, risks, and opportunities.
-Monitor program performance and support Earned Value Management (EVM) activities.\ ---Support proposals, contract changes, negotiations, and business development.
- Communicate program status and resolve issues with internal leadership, customers, and suppliers.
-Ensure compliance with government contracts, export controls, and applicable defense regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
-Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, graduate degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in program management, program controls, or a related defense industry role.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
- Familiarity with defense contracts and regulations, including FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and CAS.
- Ability to work onsite in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense programs.
- Knowledge of DPAS ratings and government contract requirements.
-Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
