Overview:
Manhattan Legacy Service, LLC is seeking an Engineer to support mission-focused efforts at Y-12 Consolidated Nuclear Services (CNS) in Oak Ridge, TN. The Engineer will support the Department of Energy and national security missions by applying technical expertise to engineering analyses, experimental activities, data processing, and the development of technical products. The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of engineering experience, a strong technical background, and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively, in a team environment. The Engineer will be responsible for planning and conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing results, processing large and complex data sets, documenting technical findings, and communicating conclusions to appropriate government stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
The Engineer is responsible for developing and executing technical analyses, planning and conducting experiments, processing and interpreting large data sets, and preparing clear and accurate technical reports and presentations. To support mission goals, the Engineer must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects, define technical requirements, develop practical solutions, learn and apply new tools and processes, and coordinate effectively with team members and stakeholders. The Engineer will also be expected to maintain accurate technical documentation, evaluate experimental results, identify trends and anomalies, and deliver required programmatic products and technical deliverables.
Requirements:
· 4–8 years of engineering or related technical experience
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, applied science, mathematics, or a related technical discipline
· Experience planning, conducting, and documenting experiments or technical evaluations
· Experience processing, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets
· Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
· U.S. citizen
· DOE Q and SCI or DoW/OGA TS/SCI clearance at the time of hire

· Ability to support other federal agencies and technical projects as needed
· Ability to learn and implement security procedures and consistently apply required processes
· Ability to attend and successfully complete specialized technical training
· Accountability for conducting, analyzing, and clearly documenting technical work performed
