Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a
Records Coordinator to join our team located in Carlsbad, NM.
The successful candidate will support the Facility Operations Department by retrieving and filing records, updating the Records Inventory Disposition Schedule, preparing files for records transfer and internal processing. Perform other routine administrative/clerical duties such as scheduling outage meetings, assisting with internal correspondence between departments. Tracking outage issues and commitments, updating outage calendars, preparing routine reports for the outage planning team. The position requires the ability to help maintain and to assist with the development of the Operations LOTO Database.
Non-Exempt Salary Grade (24-26)

- Associate’s Degree with two (2) years of relevant experience, or
- High School Diploma or Equivalency with four (4) years of relevant experience is required.
Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.

- Qualified Records Coordinator with previous WIPP experience is preferred.

Minimum salary $52,255 per year of a larger salary range --the specific salary offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors, particularly the candidate’s relevant experience and education.
