Role Description The Inventory Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mount Juliet, TN. This role oversees daily inventory control activities, including monitoring stock levels, coordinating physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy within warehouse management systems. The Inventory Supervisor leads and schedules inventory staff, assigns tasks, provides guidance and coaching, and supports performance and safety standards on the floor. The role collaborates closely with operations, finance, and customer service teams to resolve inventory issues, optimize storage strategies, and support smooth inbound and outbound workflows. The Inventory Supervisor also prepares inventory reports, tracks key performance indicators, and recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance coaching in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies using warehouse or ERP systems.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Physical Inventory activities such as cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of stock records.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Inventory Control, including tracking stock movements, maintaining accuracy, and implementing quality control procedures.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, documenting issues, and reporting results.
- Relevant qualifications include prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with warehouse management systems, basic Excel skills, knowledge of safety and compliance standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
