The expected hiring range for this position is:
$20.00-$35.00.

About the Role:
Fermilab is seeking a Taxi Driver to operate a non-commercial type vehicle for the transportation of persons and small items as directed by the dispatcher or management personnel. Operation of vehicles may be on or off-site and will be in all weather conditions.
What your day-to-day as a Taxi Driver at Fermilab will look like:
- Transporting passengers in a Laboratory vehicle to various locations within the Laboratory and to off-site locations in the general vicinity.
- Picking up and delivering packages and small items such as parcels, envelopes, computer/electronic parts, books, mail and empty barrels.
- Loading, unloading, securing, protecting and safeguarding all passengers, material, equipment and supplies being transported.
- Operating non-motorized material handling equipment such as dollies, platform carts, or pallet jacks for loading, unloading or delivering items being transported.
- Performing and documenting before and after trip inspections of assigned vehicles.
- Maintaining care and safe operation of the assigned vehicle at all times.
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Abiding by and being responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position.
