Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Real Property Management Specialist to work on our Real Property and Space team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Research and Education Campus in Idaho Falls with every other Friday off. You will assist in establishing and managing budgets for the RPAM (Real Property Asset Management) program and support collecting and maintaining INL’s real property inventory to ensure compliance with DOE federal asset record and recording requirements. You will assist in developing and implementing comprehensive space management strategies aligned with INL’s long-term mission goals and evaluating facility renovation and expansion proposals to ensure alignment with strategic space goals and standards. You will also be responsible for updating and validating the DOE Facility Information Management System (FIMS) data management and condition assessment program for INL, as well as annual updates to INL's Active Facility Environmental Liability (AFEL) reporting system. You will collect, using established data collection devices, data associated with space (e.g., common, office, laboratory, storage, etc.) and land use allocations for utilization and optimization decision making. Responsibilities: - Support the development and implementation of comprehensive and space management strategies aligned with INL’s long-term goals. - Support the direction of aspects of property asset management, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. - Evaluate facility renovation and expansion proposals for real property reporting. - Maintain effective relationships with INL organizations, DOE real estate managers, and key external stakeholders. - Maintain and analyze data on space allocation and real property inventory to optimize utilization and support decision-making processes. - Provide accurate data, metrics, and detailed reports for space portfolio strategic planning, and regulatory compliance. - Maintain policies, standards, and procedures related to space management and real property asset management. - Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety, Health, and Quality (ESH&Q) to ensure adherence to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements. - Other duties as assigned.
