At the Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. We are seeking a Material Control Specialist to perform as company spare parts subject matter expert.
Primary Duties Involve:
- Maintaining all aspects of Spare Parts program; including procedure, desk instructions, Material Analyst Groups, Responsibility Groups, etc.
- Creating spare part catalog IDs and purchase requisitions on behalf of Design Authorities (DAs), which includes researching characteristics for accuracy.
- Conducting Asset Suite/Spare Parts training.
- Creating and running Access queries to benefit DAs, create and administer Crystal Burst reports, and query business acquisitions systems.
- Performing material control and excessing activities for spare parts and Convenience Storage items.
- Performing web page development and maintenance, and other activities as needed, requested.
Basic Qualifications
- Career Level Grade 17: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 6 or more years of relevant experience.
- Senior Level Grade 18: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in creating and running Access queries.
- Experience working in Asset Suite.
- Customer service driven, ability to work within a variety of individuals.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
2026 Salary Range:
- Career Level Grade 17: $86,200 - $137,650
- Senior Level Grade 18: $94,750 - $151,800
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
