We are looking for you to apply your expertise through requirements gathering, Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) business process knowledge, and configuration management on enterprise engineering systems.
Specific Job Responsibilities
As an Engineering Systems Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems. Represent the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. Coordinates with business and technology teams ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and execution of user’s acceptance; and may coordinate testing, system techniques, and controls. Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow.
Primary duties include business analyst responsibilities, day to day interaction with Creo and Windchill customers, team coordination of work backlog, business application support, trouble-shooting, security, testing, and documentation of PTC Windchill and Creo Computer Aided Design applications. Working with experienced team members to deliver solutions for Change Notice/Tasks, WTParts, and Engineering Bill of Materials/ Manufacturing Bill of Materials (EBOM/MBOM) structures. Provide support as necessary, including certain business and system administration functions. The position requires knowledge of National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA )and Pantex engineering business processes and support for the software quality assurance and software engineering life cycle including conceptual design, requirements definition, implementation, testing and configuration management associated with enterprise level solutions.
Core Responsibilities Include
- Work closely with functional and business team members, project management, enterprise architects, system engineers, process engineers and application developers to help collect functional requirements for software supporting models-based engineering applications based on approved architecture and business requirements.
- Design and implement innovative solutions to resolve problems.
- Participate as a team member in projects through effective communication with peers, customers and management.
- Ensure solutions are well-engineered, optimized, operable, and maintainable while also ensuring adherence to defined project management policies, change management guidelines, cyber security requirements and software quality assurance processes.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to computer systems and programs in accordance with established procedures
- Responsible for improving general system knowledge, leadership skills and capabilities, and providing technical consultation as required.
- Coordination of team work backlog.
- Support the implementation and testing of engineering systems that support the NSE.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- OR Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 8 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of PTC Windchill experience
- Experience in Configuration Management.
- Experience with Document Life Cycle Management
- Experience with change management
- Understanding of how NSE enterprise Windchill works
- Experience working with NSE change management process
- Ability to gather / extract business processes and requirements from customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
