What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive management of return-to-work process by partnering with resources including line management, Pantex medical providers, Human Resources, Legal, and external providers
- Contribute to Pantex success through excellent customer services, teamwork, and working with administrative staff in meeting/exceeding performance objectives for the following major job functions:
- Consult with line management, Pantex medical providers, Human Resources, and Legal and provide assessments of employees’ functional capacity and their levels and expected durations of impairment
- Advocate for appropriate services and treatment to attain maximum medical improvement and successful return-to-work. Communicate with Pantex employees, line management, Pantex medical providers, Pantex Safety & Industrial Hygiene Department (OSHA recordkeeping), Human Resources, Legal, external providers, rehabilitation counselors, and others to ensure understanding of, and cooperation with, the recommended treatment plans and the goal of returning employees to meaningful work
- Work with line management to evaluate their organizations’ return-to-work trends. Coordinate site visits and assessments; advise on educational programs for employee teams; work in conjunction with Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) staff to recommend job site modifications and safety or procedural changes
- The employee’s primary duty is the performance of office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of the Company, and such primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment denoted as follows: examples include – having the authority to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices; carrying out major assignments related to the operation of the Company’s business; work that affects business operations of the Company to a major degree, and having the authority to commit the Company in matters having significant financial impact
- Independent judgment and discretion involves the comparison and evaluation of possible courses of conduct and having the authority to make an independent choice, free from immediate direction with respect to matters of significance

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience. Typical experience ranging from 7 to 10 years.
- OR Master’s degree with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Typical experience ranging from 7 to 10 years.
- Must be licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
- Must be a Certified Case Manager (CCM) or must be able to obtain a CCM
- Twelve or more years of relevant education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting
Preferred Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing preferred
- This position requires a thorough working knowledge of managed care processes, disease processes and the ability to relate these processes in a case management environment
- The successful applicant will have a demonstrated proficiency with computer data entry (including spreadsheets), experience working with electronic medical records, the ability to work closely with others, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively through the oral and written word and experience in working with the Medical Disability Guidelines (MDG), American's with Disabilities Act (ADA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and Labor Unions is preferred
