This position will join a growing IRC Florida Operations team that supports the Tallahassee office as well as the Miami office remotely, emphasizing collaboration and professional development with the Operations Specialist and contributing directly to the agency's anti-poverty initiatives. Through these responsibilities, the CIK & Operations VISTA will actively contribute to the agency's mission to support clients on their path to economic self-sufficiency. The CIK & Operations VISTA plays a critical role in increasing the capacity of frontline IRC staff to secure and distribute essential items, such as food, hygiene items, clothing and housewares, to IRC clients in Tallahassee. These material resources are referred to as Contributions in Kind (CIK) and are factored into the match requirements for certain grants received by IRC. The VISTA will work with the operations team to expand its capacity to identify and secure contributed items for client use; use a new In-Flow system to better inventory, value and direct contributed items for IRC caseworkers to distribute to clients; and assist in recruiting and organizing volunteers to pick up, organize and distribute contributed items.

Member Duties :
- Work closely with Operations team to accurately track incoming and outgoing contribution-in-kind items.
- Work with case managers to assess items needed by IRC clients.
- Assist in identifying donors and requesting items needed by IRC clients.
- Assist in tracking donor outreach and requests for contributed items.
- Coordinate volunteers to pick up, organize, inventory and package donated items for case workers to distribute to clients.
- Comply with agency policies and protocol.
- Other tasks and projects as directed by supervisor.
