Computer System Analyst that works as part of the Environmental Data Integration (EDI) team which provides the Hanford Site access to environmental data, waste site maps, and well maps. EDI manages multiple environmental databases and associated software. Software managed by EDI includes sample data tracking, well lifecycle tracking, and data reporting software.
Responsibilities Of The Computer System Analyst Include:
- Software Quality Assurance (SQA) support for EDI.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate the release of SQA documents for EDI managed databases and software. SQA documentation will conform to guiding regulations and contract requirements such as NQA-1, DOE O414.1, EM-QA-001, 10 CFR 830 and company procedures.
- Maintain information in the Hanford Site's software tracking system in support of EDI software managed software.
- Support other EDI staff in preparing and reviewing SQA documents.
- Interface with the CPCCo Software Quality Assurance group as EDI representative.
- Work with EDI team, software users, and data users to define user needs and system requirements.
- Software maintenance and development.
- Work with the EDI Manager and cost account manager to identify, plan, and track assigned projects and work activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Career Level Grade 16: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5 or more years of relevant experience
- Career Level Grade 17: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 6 or more years of relevant experience
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Software Quality Assurance processes and documentation.
- Experience writing database queries to retrieve data.
- Understanding of project management principles and processes.
- Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software (i.e. ArcGIS Pro).
- Familiarity with remediation processes and environmental regulations.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
- Career Level Grade 16: $88,200 - $111,100
- Career Level Grade 17: $96,938 - $122,113
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.

- Relocation Eligibility: Must be located greater than 50 miles from Richland, WA 99352. If eligible for relocation, the Not To Exceed (NTE) range offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience in relation to the position grade level offered. The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact.
