A Day In The Life Of An Administrative Assistant At The Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility (ERDF) Includes, But Is Not Limited To:
- Formatting, editing, and preparing technical documents for issuance or release.
- Providing backup support and assistance to the Executive Secretary for the Waste Project and Operations Project.
- Preparing presentations, meeting minutes, and interoffice correspondence.
- Coordinating records management and disposition including submitting records for processing to IDMS and requesting new or revised electronic records authorizations.
- Scheduling training, including assisting managers with preparing training plans and employee job task analyses.
- Managing staff calendars including scheduling meetings, training, etc.
- Administering required reading system for the project utilizing the site Required Reading system.
- Assisting with project move coordination including utilizing the site Service Catalog for move requests, computer disconnects, reconnects, etc.
- Ordering office supplies and preparing the required documentation for purchases.
- Tracking property assigned to the project team in the Sunflower site wide database.
- Maintaining the project action tracking system/spreadsheet working with project leadership to status the list.
- Acting as custodian for copiers, printers, and facility keys, as well as point of contact for conference rooms.
- Interfacing with all levels of project management.
- Maintaining effective communication within the organization and with the customer while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Basic Qualifications
Grade 6: High School plus 8 years of relevant experience
Grade 7: High School plus 10 years of relevant experience
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in non-technical editing of reports, letters and documents.
- Experience coordinating/organizing personnel moves.
- Excellent skills in dealing with customers, can-do attitude, ability to work under pressure.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
- Grade 6: $53,413 - $67,338
- Grade 7: $58,825 - $74,175
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.

In accordance with the Service Contract Act, this position is also eligible for the health & welfare wage adder.
